Alex Kramer | SAHS CO 17

Senior Year: Alex

Alex, a senior at South Anchorage High School, wanted to switch up locations from the locations around Anchorage for her senior pictures. And switched it up we did, we headed to Hatcher’s Pass to give Alex the mountain scenery she wanted for her pictures. It just so happens that Alex is an avid rock climber, and we got lucky with the weather to be able to photograph Alex rock climbing a bit around Hatcher’s Pass!

Hatcher’s Pass offers a bit of variety from the mountains too. The cabins, mine, meadows, and the creek provided some great backdrops for Alex’s senior pictures. Alex was great to work with and her natural expressions, made my job easy.

Have a great year Alex!

Sadra Bowie | PK12 CO 17

I had the pleasure of photographing the Bowie family last summer, and I’m so happy that I had the pleasure of working with the Bowie family again to photograph their eldest daughter, Sadra, for her senior pictures! Sadra, a senior at Polaris High School in Anchorage, was so much fun to photograph. Her natural beauty made my job super easy.

Her sweaters were perfect for the fall leaves that flourished when she came in for her senior pictures. Sadra was able to capture a spring-time feeling for her senior photos since the weather was warm enough for her to wear a simple dress! This gave her the feeling of two sessions in one!

Here’s to a great senior year Sadra!

Allena Graciani | EHS CO 17

The weather was in Allena’s favor for her senior session in late September. September is usually nothing but rain her in Anchorage, but not for Allena! Her session had the beautiful evening sunlight that only happens in the fall. Her ethereal dress was perfect with the lighting and complimented the scenery nicely. Combine that with her simple dress with a jean jacket, Allena had a nice variety to her senior pictures! Her mom came to help on her session, and let me tell you, they cracked me up the whole time! They were so much fun to work with.

Good luck on your senior year Allena!

Erich LaFlamme | BHS CO 17

Erich first came in to help with Brianna’s senior session and I could not be more happy that he decided to come to me to photograph his senior pictures too! It’s always such a huge compliment when that happens and it lets me know that I’m doing something right.

Erich’s simpler outfits worked great with his in studio portraits, and his dress shirt and blazer complimented the metropolitan part of downtown. His other outfits worked great with the more grungier alleyways. Erich was so much fun to work with. From his upbeat personality, to his impeccable fashion sense, and various locations around downtown Anchorage, his senior photos show an array that everyone wishes for in their images. Here’s to a wonderful year for you Erich!

Jordan Daniels | DHS CO 17

Jordan Daniels is the epitome of Sporty Spice. She plays soccer and flag football for Dimond High, loves to hike, and dance. Her outfits were on point for her senior session earlier this year. Her white dress made a versatile choice, pairing well with the trees as well as the downtown buildings. Her olive green shirt with the black jacket, made her just pop in the photos. Not only did we get some great downtown photos, we ended up getting some wonderful images in a local park too! Her photos in the park gave her a great collection of images to keep forever!

Have a great senior year Jordan!

Noble Solana-Walkinshaw | EHS C017

Let me just start by saying I have always loved photographing actors! And taking an actor’s senior photos is just as much fun! Noble, a senior from East High School, was no exception to this rule, from his wonderful smiles to his selfie smolder, Noble was a natural in front of the camera.

Mr. Noble may have grown up in Alaska, but he’s got that New York City style and energy. He even introduced me to the term Metelcore. We can’t wait to see where he goes from here.

So much of senior photos comes down to your style and what you wear, and Noble made some great choices. From his chunky knit sweater to his Chambray blazer everything photographed beautifully. Congratulations on your senior year Noble, hope it’s a great one for you!

Madison Colbern | SAHS CO 17

Senior Year: Madi

Say Hello to Madi Colbern!

We took Madi out to the Turnagain Arm for her senior photos, and she absolutely rocked it! Madi has such an awesome sense of style, and yet so simple! A pretty black dress with a favorite necklace had her looking casually glamorous. Her black moto jacket was an easy way to add some edge to her soft look in the white lace dress. Speaking of, layers are key! The addition – or removal – of a jacket, scarf, or coat can completely transform your look in a matter of seconds.

Good luck in your senior year, Madi!

Mitchell McBirney | PK12 CO17

Senior Year: Mitchell

Mitchell, a Polaris senior and the future President of the United States, rocked the classic dress shirt and tie for his senior pictures. Wether it was paired with a blazer or leather jacket, Mitchell pulled off his outfits with timeless approach. Mitchell’s metro senior session was complimented with a few shots in the austere alleyways downtown, as well as the landscape of the Coastal Trail. Mitchell rocked all of his locations with his easy smile.

Congratulations Mitchell on your senior year!

Colyn Halbert | PHS CO 17

Senior Year: Colyn

Colyn Halbert, a Palmer High School senior, brought his A-game for his senior session. Between his assorted outfits and his on point modeling, Colyn’s senior session was one of my favorites from the summer! We went to all of the hot spots on the Turnagain Arm. It was really around Beluga Point that was my favorite spot for his session. His classic sweater and khakis complimented the textured tree roots wholly, making him really stand out in the images in the process. Colyn was a lot of fun to photograph and I’m so thankful he picked me to document this time in his life. Good luck in your senior year Colyn!

Carina Diaz | EHS CO 17

Senior Year: Carina

For Carina’s senior session, we explored around the bluff area and found the perfect locations! It was only fitting that we photographed Carina, an East High senior, amongst the Alaska scenery. One of her favorite pass times is hiking. Which I was more than happy to use as inspiration for her senior pictures!

Carina’s outfits were just the right amount of dressy to compliment the rugged mountains, the calm valley, and the simple trees. Her classic grey sweater with the burgundy jeans are the kind of timeless outfit you want to wear for your senior pictures.
Congratulations Carina on your senior year!
